For over 50 years, our family has run Riccotti’s Sandwich Shop in Bristol, where we learned what it takes to earn a regular. Now, three generations later, we’re introducing something new: a Detroit-style pizzeria next door.
Fair & Square is built around our sourdough crust. We make our dough in house every morning, from a starter we feed daily, using organic, unbromated flour. Our dough is thick, like focaccia, with a crispy exterior and a light, airy interior, and the wild yeast gives it a complex flavor all its own. As it bakes, the Wisconsin cheese runs to the edges and fries against the hot, seasoned pan, creating the dark, caramelized crust that defines Detroit style.
Our mission is simple: bring you the best pizza we possibly can; quickly, consistently, and at a fair price. That means using only the best ingredients, making as much in-house as we can manage, and taking no shortcuts with our dough.
Riccotti’s has lasted 50 years because the community kept showing up. We’re hoping you’ll show up for this one too.

Detroit is in the house. Tried Fair & Square in Bristol and was just about blown away. Went with the pizza they call the Usual and added fennel sausage. Cooked perfect. Laced edges were amazing. Sauce was perfect. Excellent crunch. Incredible tasting pizza. Rivals the best Detroit pizza I’ve had in the state. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Pizza was delicious! Truly amazing pizza, the dough was nice and crunchy on the outside but so soft and fluffy in the middle. The sauce was on point and the toppings worked so well together. I didn’t have any expectations going in but it absolutely blew me away! Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. If you like Detroit pizza, you have to try this!
WOW!! This pizza is AWESOME!! Just checked out the Fair & Square spot and so glad I did. The staff is really friendly, the place is super clean, and the pizza is soooo delicious!! Love the Detroit-style pizza, just-right crispy crust, fresh tomato sauce, and light and fluffy inside. Can’t wait to go back!!
Best pizza in Rhode Island. Yes it’s a bold claim, but this is bold pizza. The crust could win best in the country and I wouldn’t be surprised.
It’s fresh ingredients done well in a style that is refreshingly different than the rest of the pizza in this area. Home-made sourdough pizza and craftsmanship is what you get. Ordered online and it was ready for pick up at the appointed time.
Looks good, tastes better.
